Leading the team is Dr Shireen Henry, a doctor focused on longevity science, metabolic health, and performance. At Matter, she supports a personalised approach to wellbeing, integrating movement, metabolic support, nervous system regulation, and recovery modalities such as hyperbaric oxygen therapy, red light therapy, and contrast recovery, helping you turn clinical insight into practical habits that support how you feel and perform at your best
Personal Training
Your journey to better fitness starts with understanding yourself, your goals, lifestyle, and current level. A Personal Trainer guides you through a detailed assessment of your movement, form, and capabilities, while listening to your challenges and motivations, then supports you through ongoing sessions to help you build momentum, progress consistently, and work towards meaningful change.
At Matter, this approach is led by Ash Hatmin, Head of Performance, a PhD in Biomechanics and MSc in Sports Science, and creator of Movement Restoration Systems, with over two decades of experience spanning elite performance, youth athletic development, and post-rehabilitation care, including stroke recovery. His work includes global experience with organisations such as the American Council on Exercise, the National Academy of Sports Medicine, the Beijing Sports Union, and RockTape Australia. His focus is on improving movement quality, building resilience, and supporting you in performing at your best so you can move through life with strength, clarity, and control.”
